The Martha & Mary Child Care Center, located at 250 NE Sunset St. in Poulsbo, serves 103 children between the ages of four weeks and five years. The center is open from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The Child Care Center was architecturally designed for its purpose, and features open, well-lighted activity areas and an adjacent covered play area that enables children to play outside, rain or shine.

At the Martha & Mary Child Care Center, we have set up a program that focuses on your child's natural and healthy development. Our large space provides the opportunity to have individual settings for your child's developmental age group. We provide an atmosphere that is warm, loving and conducive to building your child's self esteem. Activities are age appropriate, and nurture your child's intellectual, physical, social and emotional development.

Our preschool teachers cover subjects that allow us to take the learning experience out of the classroom. Besides the opportunity to participate in the Intergenerational Program, children take frequent field trips to the library, parks, storefronts, and other convenient locations that are within walking distance. This unique experience allows the child and teacher to have new conversations with hands on approach to learning in our ever-changing world. Our ultimate goal is to ensure your child positive, happy and successful days-as these days create the bulk of their childhood experiences and memories.

In addition to providing wonderful care for your child, we also strive to make a connection with you, the parent, through conferences, daily communication, and celebrations. Your trust in us, the childcare provider, is paramount. From the moment you walk in to the center, you will feel welcome.
