The Martha & Mary Children's Learning Center, located at 19282 Front Street NE in Poulsbo, is open from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The center cares for preschoolers, and provides extended care for children attending half-day kindergarten at Poulsbo or Vinland Elementary School. It also houses our private full-day kindergarten class.

Our preschool program focuses on kindergarten readiness. We work with the children to help prepare them for the social, emotional and intellectual demands of kindergarten. Learning and readiness skills are all incorporated through fun activities. Your child will feel proud in his/her ability to show you what they learned at preschool. That confidence helps to build self-esteem, and contributes to your child's healthy development.

Our private kindergarten is a full six-hour session with a certified teacher and a limited enrollment of 18 children. The limited class size provides better individual attention to your child's needs and development. Combined with the consistency of our before and after school care, your child is provided with a positive and secure kindergarten experience.

At the Children's Learning Center we partner together with our parents and families to support the developmental needs of our all students. We encourage and provide many opportunities for parent involvement. In addition to the wonderful programs we offer, on site enrichment opportunities such as dance and Hooked On Phonics® are also available to add to the learning experience.
