The Martha & Mary Early Learning Center is located at 3513 Anderson Hill Road. Construction on the brand new facility was completed in November 2003. The center serves 135 children from four weeks through 11 years of age, and is open from 5:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

We are excited to be serving the Silverdale community. At the Early Learning Center, our focus is on you and your child. Our programs are designed to promote your child's natural and healthy development. We appreciate the importance of partnership between childcare providers and parents, and we work hard with you to meet your child's needs.

Our preschool program focuses on kindergarten readiness. We work with the children to help prepare them for the social, emotional and intellectual demands of kindergarten. Learning and readiness skills are all incorporated through fun activities. Our infant and toddler areas are warm and inviting. Stimulating activities are incorporated into the daily schedule as part of a well-rounded developmental program.

Partnering with Kitsap Community Resources, we have developed a full-day Head Start program at the Early Learning Center that meets the high standards of both organizations. Our full-day Head Start program provides care for low-income children ages 3-5. In addition, our partnership with Head Start allows us to provide health and dental screenings, nutritious foods, and family support services.

Martha & Mary's Board of Directors proudly dedicated the Early Learning Center to our Children's Services Administrator, Joanna Carlson, on November 16th, 2003. In recognition of her years of service to the childcare profession and the families of the Kitsap community, the site is designated as the Joanna Carlson Campus.
