The M&M Kids’ Club is proud to offer special enrichment camps this summer to go above and beyond our normal camp experience.  The camps are taught by talented and qualified instructors, and are conveniently held at the M&M Kids’ Club Summer Camp location at Poulsbo Elementary.

To sign your child up for any camp, fill out a registration form and turn it in with payment to your child’s teacher or the M&M Kids’ Club main office.  Children who sign up for more than one camp will receive a 10% discount off of each additional camp.  Childcare for the remainder of the day during the camps is also available at a discounted rate of $20 per day.  For more information, please see your child’s teacher or contact the M&M Kids’ Club main office at 360-394-4089.

Soccer Camp 

The Soccer Camp will be taught by Debbie Park, who has over 30 years of soccer experience.  She has taught the sport to children ages 5-12.  The camp will run Monday July 9th – Friday July 13th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.  Children will receive a t-shirt and soccer ball to take home with them.  The cost of the camp is $80 for the week if enrolled by June 8th, $90 after that.

Each day the children will begin by doing warm-ups and stretches.  They will then go into three 20-30 minute blocks of instruction with short water and rest breaks in between.  The emphasis will be on individual skills development.  The instruction will then switch to team play focusing on building teamwork and learning positions and rules.  Each day will end with a short scrimmage.

Art Camp:  Is It Machine Or Art?

The Machine or Art Camp will be taught by Linda Birge, who was an art major at Fresno State.  She has been instructing children 5-14 in fine arts for over 12 years.  The camp will run Monday July 16th – Friday July 20th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am and is available for children ages 8-12.  All art supplies necessary for the camp will be provided.  The cost of the camp is $75 for the week if enrolled by June 8th, $85 after that.

This camp will utilize your child’s innovation and creativity when we take tools, wood, screws, nails, paint and other “mystery” items found to create amazing sculptures!

Art Camp:  Painting

The Painting Art Camp will also be taught by Linda Birge.  The camp will run Monday August 6thth from 9:30 am – 11:30 am and is available for children ages 7-12.  All art supplies necessary for the camp will be provided.  The cost of the camp is $75 for the week if enrolled by June 8th, $85 after that.

Your child will explore color and experiment with acrylic painting techniques on canvas board, paper and collages. Bring in your ideas, and Ms. Linda will bring in hers!
