Martha & Mary Board of Trustees Welcome New CEO Lynette Ladenburg

October 4, 2016

Dear Residents, Clients, Families, Staff, and Supporters of Martha & Mary,

The Martha & Mary Board of Trustees warmly welcomes Lynette Ladenburg as our next CEO! Her years of administrative experience in nonprofit senior healthcare and housing plus leadership in consultation and advocacy promise to bring flexibility and strength to Martha & Mary as we continue to provide for the senior healthcare and housing, childcare, and childhood education needs of our community.

With expert direction from our interim CEO Richard Fields and the support of the Board of Trustees, Martha & Mary’s staff have maintained an unwavering focus on quality, compassionate care across the generations. Together, Board and staff are working diligently to ensure that the services and caring that have endured for 125 years will be there for years to come. My heartfelt gratitude to all who have helped us on this journey.

In 2014, Martha & Mary adopted a strategic plan focused on offering a continuum of senior healthcare and housing services, alignment with regional healthcare systems, quality care and customer satisfaction, and employee investment and engagement. The Board of Trustees and our new CEO remain committed to our mission and strategic direction, and we believe this course will allow us to thrive as we encounter the changes and challenges ahead.

We are excited for the opportunity to introduce Lynette to our community—our Member Congregations, our client families, our loyal supporters, our business and government partners – and to the entire Kitsap Peninsula. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll have an array of gatherings to bring you together with our new leadership.

As Martha & Mary has celebrated our 125th anniversary this year, it has been meaningful to look back and reflect on the commitment of those who served in years before – the commitment to service, to meeting urgent community needs, to quality, compassionate caring for those who need it most. With this heritage at our back, and new leadership to take us forward, we invite you, our community, to join with us to care for generations, and generations to come.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees please accept our gratitude for the trust and support of our residents and clients, their families, our staff, and this community.

Sincerely,

Helen Stoll

President, Board of Trustees
