At Martha & Mary, we believe every person deserves to be treated with compassion, dignity, and care. We’ve extended that mission abroad by becoming a fiscal sponsor of Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance, in Cameroon, West Africa.
We became a fiscal sponsor of CDVTA because they share our commitment to serving vulnerable children and elders. Through this partnership, we provide trusted stewardship of donations received in the United States, ensuring resources are managed with excellence and accountability to support CDVTA's life-changing work in Cameroon.

Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance (CDVTA) is an internationally recognized nonprofit serving vulnerable communities throughout Cameroon. Working in underserved areas, CDVTA addresses critical needs related to clean water, sanitation, education, elder care, women's empowerment, and food security.
Through community development initiatives, CDVTA installs solar-powered wells that provide safe drinking water to schools and rural communities, and builds sanitation facilities that help young women stay in school with access to safe, dignified hygiene services.
CDVTA also supports older adults, empowers women through entrepreneurship and training programs, and promotes Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) to strengthen food security and economic opportunity.
